I am a visual artist with more than 45 years of art making behind me (and hopefully at least 10 in front of me!). Needless to say art making has been an important part of my life. It has always been hard to justify the purchase of supplies. Paper @ $100/box, ink @ $660/set, framing @ more than the price of the print(!); you get the idea. Being a visual artist can be expensive and rarely does it pay off. In just the past year have I acquired a modest following, thanks to a Youtube video by Jeffiot.
