I was born with a birth defect (symbrachydactyly) - which is an underdeveloped hand, but that never stopped me from pursuing my love for sports. From a young age, I was drawn to baseball. Learning to play with one functional hand presented many challenges, but through determination and creativity, I adapted my technique. Eventually, I became an all-star pitcher.

In high school, I continued playing baseball and also joined the football team, continuing to prove that physical limitations didn’t define my potential. When I went to college, I earned a spot on the college baseball team and took my love for sports a step further by mentoring others. I began coaching high school students in both baseball and football—something I’ve proudly done for the past 25 years. I have also, been a physical education teacher for the last 15 years.

As time passed, I discovered a new passion: golf. Despite the sport's physical demands, I embraced it wholeheartedly and developed my skills. I’m now an active member of the U.S. Adaptive Golf Alliance, which allows me to compete in adaptive golf tournaments across the country. Golf has become not just a sport, but another way to challenge myself and connect with others who share my love for competition and growth.

Throughout my life, I’ve never let obstacles stand in the way of doing what I love. Sports have given me not just confidence, but purpose—and I’m committed to inspiring others to believe in their abilities, no matter the challenges they face.

These tournaments can be very costly and on a teachers salary I can use some help.

In December I would like to attend my first golf tournament in Arizona. I would need to raise money for tournament fee, air fair, and car rental.
My second tournament is in January , Daytona Beach area.
