The start of the school year is a time of hope and new beginnings for children and families. Yet, for some individuals and families, this season is marked by deep struggle and uncertainty. We are launching this campaign to stand beside them, to ease their burdens, and to help restore dignity and hope.

Here are the stories of the families we wish to support together:

A widowed mother with young children, who lost her husband and now works tirelessly as a cleaner to provide food, cover expenses, and keep her children in school. Her strength is admirable, but her resources are painfully limited.

Another woman, also working as a cleaner, is battling a severe eye disease that requires expensive medical treatment. Her husband, once the breadwinner, became disabled after a workplace accident, leaving the family in urgent need of support.

A woman who once worked in a hammam, now unable to work after losing a leg due to illness. Without income, she is forced to rely on the kindness of those who know her situation personally, as she never openly begs but only accepts discreet support to cover her basic needs.

A man who suffered a terrible road accident, which led to the amputation of his leg. Already living with diabetes, he is now disabled, while his wife is battling cancer. Their situation is desperate, as both face serious health challenges without means of stability.

These families do not go out seeking alms; rather, it is only those aware of their condition who step forward to support them. They bear their struggles with dignity, yet their needs are urgent and real.

As the Qur’an reminds us: “The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills” (Qur’an 2:261).

With your support, we can help these families cover school expenses for their children, access vital medical care, and find a measure of relief during this difficult time.

Your donation, no matter how small, can bring hope, dignity, and light to their lives. Together, let us answer this call of compassion.
