2025 is centenial year for steam locomotive Cadbury No:1. As a resident of Bournville with a passion for steam, I feel strongly that I should help make Cadbury No: 1 look better for it's 100th Birthday.

To cosmetically restore this steam locomotives that worked at the Cadbury Factory would be a wonderful achievement. Then, to bring the restored locomotive back to Bournville for our Heritage Day taking place on Saturday 13th September 2025 would be fantastic!

Cadbury No:1 was new to chocolate factory in 1925 so I strongly believe this is worth doing in readiness for this anniversary year.

To return the locomotive to full working order will take much more funding. So for now, I am looking to raise £10,000 for a cosmetic restoration with the view to create a display and photography exhibition of industrial steam at Cadburys.

Contributions raised will help fund repairs to plate and bodywork needed before painting.

Any donation large or small will be gratefully received. Funds over the target amount will be 'Ring Fenced' and used in the future to return Cadbury No:1 to working order.
