Lawrence and I are both grateful for and humbled by the outpouring of love and support we are receiving, given Lawrence’s recent cancer diagnosis. Our lives have taken on a new form of normality. Yet we neither fret nor complain unnecessarily. Instead, we hold on tight to the loving arms of The Anointed One, each other, and the many kind souls who regularly reach out to us. We are especially grateful to The City of Cedar Hill Police Department for its sensitivity to our plight, particularly the mounting medical bills associated with Lawrence’s procedures, medications, and treatments.
