Back the Badge: Support Deputy Johnson’s Family
Donation protected
Our Mason County Sheriff's Office family is reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits. Deputy Jacob Johnson, a dedicated public servant and beloved member of our agency, recently received devastating news: his 6-year-old daughter, Lyla, has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.
As you can imagine, life has been turned upside down for Jacob, his wife Hannah — who is currently pregnant — and their two other young children. Lyla’s condition requires constant monitoring, specialized treatment, and unwavering emotional support from her family.
To give Lyla the best chance at beating this, Jacob and Hannah will need to step away from work and daily obligations to focus entirely on her care. This journey is expected to be long, uncertain, and incredibly demanding. But no family should have to walk this path alone.
We are asking for your help — whether it be through financial support or simply lifting the Johnsons in your prayers and positive thoughts. Your donations will help cover medical costs, travel, time off work, and all the unexpected expenses that come with caring for a critically ill child while preparing to welcome a new baby into the world.
Jacob and Hannah are the kind of people who would drop everything to help someone else in need — now it’s our turn to return that kindness. Let’s rally around this amazing family so they can focus all their strength and love on helping Lyla heal.
Every dollar and every prayer counts.
Thank you for standing with the Johnsons.
