Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out for help during a difficult and unexpected time in my life. On January 19th, I am scheduled for major back surgery—an L4–L5 spinal fusion and laminectomy—to address serious spinal issues that are affecting my ability to function day-to-day.

This surgery is necessary; without it, I would be unable to walk in a few months, but the recovery will be long and physically demanding. I’ve been advised that I will be out of work for several weeks while my spine heals. Unfortunately, during that time, normal expenses don’t stop—rent, utilities, food, medical bills, medications, and follow-up care all continue.

I work three jobs that require standing, lifting, and physical activity, which I simply cannot do while recovering. I want to do everything I can to heal properly so I don’t cause permanent damage or need additional surgery in the future.

I’m asking for help to cover:

Living expenses while I’m unable to work

Medical costs not fully covered by insurance

Medications, physical therapy, and recovery supplies

My goal of $7,000 will directly cover my $3,500 insurance deductible/out-of-pocket maximum and the lost wages and additional medical bills I will incur during my mandatory 6-week recovery period.

After I am healed I plan to start playing music in a live setting again. It's my passion and something I have been denied of doing since 2022. Any amount—no matter how small—would mean more than I can express. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would also be a huge help.
