Dear family and friends,
My mom, Melanie, was in an accident last week that resulted in a broken back. Now she is in desperate need.
She was in the process of leaving South Carolina and finding a new home for herself back in Missouri. So unfortunately, not only is she hurt, she is basically homeless. Our hometown of Bernie is 800 miles from mine and my sisters homes, herein South Carolina. Of course, transporting her that far at this point is not an option.
She needs back surgery and housing to recuperate for a few months. The costs are far more than she can imagine paying for without help.
