Back Surgery For Jesse Hemphill

Jesse Hemphill is a friend of mine from High School ( West High School in Salt Lake City, Utah). He was a class clown and a talented martial artist. After he graduated in 2003, Jesse Joined the United States Marine Corps and went and fought for our country. He served our Country for 11 years and was ranked a Sergeant E-5.

When Jesse came home he found that he has a bulging disc in his back along with arthritis. Jesse has looked into having surgery through the VA, however they do not use the updated laser procedure, and the outdated procedure only has a 60% success rate. The closest facility that can perform the laser surgery is in Arizona. I asked Jesse why he had not already gone to have the procedure done? He stated that the cost of travel and time lost at work was what was holding him back.  

Friends, this soldier deserves to have a good quality of life with his family. He deserves to be able to hold his children without pain. He deserves to be able to pursue the physical activity that he used to. Will you help me get Jesse to Arizona to have this procedure done? Any donation is greatly appreciated. Everything helps.
