Back surgery for Bo Bo
Help us make Bo walk again and give him the rest of his life.
UPDATE: Bo is at MSU currently. They have him on an IV with pain meds and steroids until he can see the neurologist tomorrow. They will be doing the MRI and then will call me with results
Long story short.....
Early yesterday we noticed after letting him outside he wasn’t acting quite right and was in a tremendous amount of pain. He likes to leap over a 3 foot fence we have in the back yard and we believe he landed wrong.
We took him to the vet to find out he has what we believe to be a ruptured disk. He currently can’t stand on his back legs and has no bladder control. Thanks to our amazing vet he is at least resting more comfortable.
The next couple days are critical. Diagnostics are $4,000 and surgery starts at another $4,000. We are currently doing medical management to help keep his pain under control and to bring down inflammation.
Bo is not only an amazing dog. He is my sons best friend. We need him to recover because 8 years is not long enough.
