I’m Ozara Odé, an independent artist creating without a label or a big machine behind me. I’ve been away healing and creating and I’m back! My next release, 'So It Seems,' is a song and music video that aims to help people feel less alone in a hectic world. The song is a witty, reality-check anthem for anyone feeling overwhelmed by modern life but still trying to stay soft, sane, and self-directed. It’s introspective, lightly rebellious, and ultimately optimistic—like a calm protest song with humor, a little escapism, and a big message about agency, unity, and choosing peace in a loud world.
Over the last few years, I’ve been writing from a very real place, working through physical pain and hard seasons, and turning what I’ve lived into songs that tell the truth and lift spirits. I didn’t stop creating, even when it would’ve been easier to quit. My Shero persona uses her superpower—her voice—to help people feel better and want to do better. I’m also working on a comic strip and need a trademark for my name and logo so I can create merchandise and launch the comic strip series. Positive vibrations and lifting people’s spirits are at the core of my music and daily practices.
I’m raising funds to cover the video shoot, clothing, hair and makeup, recording session, producer, studio time, keyboardist, trademark fees, rental car, and a professional photoshoot. The trademark will allow me to create merchandise and launch my comic strip. Production, visuals, and legal protection cost money upfront, long before the music has a chance to pay it back. If my music has ever encouraged you, made you feel seen, or helped you through something, I’d be honored if you would donate. If you can’t donate right now, sharing this fundraiser is a real form of support. Thank you for being part of my journey, believing in me, and helping me release 'So It Seems' with excellence and protect what I’m building.
