The 4/4/48 challenge is running 4 miles every four hours for 48 hours, for a total of 48 miles. We are going to start this challenge at 6pm on Christmas Eve night and start the last run at 2pm on December 26th. Here is the breakdown of when each run will start: December 24th 6pm, December 24th 10 pm, December 25th 2am, December 25th 6am, December 25th 10am, December 25th 2pm, December 25th 6pm, December 25th 10pm, December 26th 2am, December 26th 6am, December 26th 10am, December 26th 2pm. The route is going to be the exact same for all 4 runs. We created a loop that is exactly 4 miles. Each run will start and finish at Fred Timm CPA. Below is the route.

Why did we decide to do this challenge? We wanted to take time away from our Christmas to do something challenging for our friend who doesn't have the ability to walk. Something that the three of us do every single day, without even thinking about it. It's something that we take for granted. We all take the little things for granted. This challenge is the least we can do. If you are reading this and are thankful for the little things in life; Breathing, walking, talking, standing.. please consider donating to the cause. Every dollar counts, and we would love to get the money raised by Christmas for JJ. Follow and share us on Facebook and Instagram @backontwo We appreciate everyone!!! If you have any questions contact us through our email we@backon2.com

If you are a local business owner and would like to support, we are going to be accepting sponsorships. Each sponsor will be featured on our social media pages and will be put on a shirt that we will run in throughout the challenge. Each sponsorship requires a $250 donation.  To find out more, email us @ the email above!

"A body is not meant to sit down and lay in bed all day. Being able to stand helps with blood flow. It prevents UTIs which is jjs biggest problem. He spends approximately 50% of his months treating a UTI which keeps him in bed. It is a vicious cycle. It also helps with digestive system.

Additionally the mental health piece to this is he can actually look someone in the eye as opposed to always being look down upon. This chair is easy up and easy down. The standing frame that we have takes 2 people and a bulk of time to use. This would permit JJ to stand at different intervals during the day. The cost of the chair with his modifications and tax and delivery is going to be approximately 20,000 so anything would help."
