Nate Gallagher is the father of two young boys, Grady (14) and Jacob (11). The worst of tragedies fell upon the family in January when Nate was diagnosed with a highly aggressive rare form of cancer. After undergoing several cycles of chemotherapy, it was determined that the cancer was not responding and had spread to his lymph nodes and liver.

Recently, a port was placed and a new type of chemotherapy was started in hopes of a different response. Thankfully, he was approved for a second opinion at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. This is the largest cancer research hospital in the world. They provide groundbreaking research and innovative clinical care specializing in this type of cancer. It is expected that there will be numerous trips to Texas as a new treatment plan is implemented.

Nate is strong and fighting with all of his strength. This will be a difficult journey for everyone involved.
