Hi, I’m Michael V. Guajardo, and I’ve been selected to speak at TEDx Socorro 2025 in Texas this April.

My talk, Rewriting Your Narrative: Hope as an Act of Rebellion, is about how hope isn’t soft or passive—it’s a bold, defiant act. It’s what’s carried me through some of life’s hardest chapters, and now I have the chance to share that message with others on a global platform.

TEDx is an independently organized event, and speakers cover their own travel and lodging. I’m raising $500 to help with:

• Gas for the trip from Albuquerque to Socorro

• Lodging for three nights

• Meals and basic expenses
