Back Lisa's Dream for a Local Beauty Academy

I’m Regina, and I’m requesting support for Platinum Shears Beauty Academy. Platinum Shears will be the first Black Owned & Black Woman owned Beauty Academy to be located in the Historically Neglected West End of Louisville! Lisa Wilson, is a long standing Socialprenuer, Master Cosmetologist & Cosmetology Educator. She has always pushed for Cosmetologists rights and poured into Kentucky’s beauty industry.

Having a facility such as PSBA located in Lyle’s mall, provides access for our community and will encourage generational wealth. We have always had to travel for quality opportunities. Now we will have our own academy that will focus on beauty industry standards, professional growth and development, financial literacy, soft skills, mental health and physical well-being etc. Lisa has been breeding beauty industry professionals for many years. Now she is opening an Academy for us, by us! Please give whatever is on your heart and any words of encouragement. Thank you!
