Hi friends! For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Isabella, a junior at the College of Charleston. Since moving to this city, I’ve had the privilege of meeting some amazing people through a church group I attend and intern for weekly, called the Charleston Wesley Foundation (CWF).

Originally, I had hoped to join CWF on a trip to Israel, but due to the current conflict, that’s no longer possible. However, CWF is ensuring I don’t miss out on a spiritual pilgrimage during these formative college years. I am beyond excited to share that I’ll be traveling to Greece and Turkey this upcoming June to walk in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul.

This journey will take me to the places where the early Church was formed and where the Holy Spirit moved 2,000 years ago—transformative moments that still inspire my heart today. I’ll get to see signs of the ancient world, better engage with Scripture, and bring the New Testament to life in new and meaningful ways. From visiting where Paul, Timothy, Silas, and Barnabas traveled, to standing where Lydia was baptized, and walking where the Gentile church was formed—this is an incredible opportunity to witness where the Church’s story began.

This trip is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I feel so blessed to begin adulthood with something so inspiring, purposeful, and holy.
