As many of you know, our beloved teammate George Jefferson-Spear has been facing an incredible challenge over the past few months. He has been battling a serious condition that culminated in a life changing spinal surgery. The procedure was complex, but we’re relieved to share that it went well and George is on the path to recovery. However, the road ahead is filled with uncertainties.

George is not just a fantastic rugby player, committee member and friend; he embodies the spirit of our team with his humour, kindness, and unwavering sense of fairness. He has always been there for us, on and off the field, bringing joy and camaraderie to our lives. Now, it’s our turn to rally around him and show our support.

We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate some of the financial burdens that come with his recovery. Medical expenses, rehabilitation, and daily living costs can add up quickly, and we want George to focus solely on healing without the stress of financial worries.
