Hi, my name is Joshua Lara and I’m 23 years old. I was first diagnosed with stage 3 skin cancer in June 2024. After six difficult months of treatment, I was grateful to beat it. But sadly, in May 2025, the cancer returned.

I’ve always tried to handle things on my own. I’m the head of my household, and it’s important to me to stay strong for the people who count on me. Asking for help isn’t easy, and truthfully, I wasn’t planning to, but some close friends encouraged me to create this GoFundMe.

I’m not looking for much, just a little support to help ease the burden of medical expenses and living costs while I focus on fighting this again. If you’re able to give anything, or even just share this, I’d be truly grateful.
