Back Gillette FCCLA's State Champions

Hello from Gillette chapter, FCCLA. We are raising funds for the national competition in Orlando Florida. This is a full student pay trip for our chapter, any donation will help us tremendously! At Nationals we will compete with our project that won us 1st place at state! As well as learn new leadership skills, get to meet the 50 States other FCCLA members, see other projects, and venture around to sight see. This is a great opportunity for our FCCLA Chapter. A little information about our winning projects: For our chapter service project, we made 100 care packages for the homeless shelter and the Y.E.S House, which not only helped our community but also took 1st place for chapter service display. The second project that placed 1st was a hand made recycled jean purse with many hand sewn embellishments and recycled materials for the category of repurpose and redesign, helping environmental waste.

We are asking help from our community to get us to nationals as we are short on funds, and have to pay for this trip on our own. We will be showing other Future Leaders of America how to make care packages to help our communities and how to reuse and recycle clothing rather than throwing away. This is a great opportunity for us! Thank you for any help from our community!
