Hello! My name is Elijah Fitzpatrick and I am a 24year-old filmmaker from Omaha, NE. My newest and first feature film is titled “The Grave-Robbers”. It is about a YouTuber during the 2008 financial crisis willing to risk his reputation and relationships in order to save his home. This film uses many non actors, and has actors interacting with real people to give the film a funny yet authentic street level feel. The film uses professional crew members from the Omaha area. Our first day was shooting the black and white horror spoof made by the characters. Above you will see how some of that looks. 

I have been making films since I was 7 years old and have been writing and directing ever since. My most recent short was done in 2023 and was titled “Angels With Dirty Paws.” It was a film I made at the dog daycare I worked at. It was done with a budget of $100, and ever since, I’ve been writing scripts and working on local commercials and documentaries to help hone my craft. 

The film is shooting for a $6,800 budget. $650 raised in the past years has been used for crew, props, food, and the Panasonic DVX 100 camcorder uses to capture the authentic 2008 look. We plan to shoot this throughout the rest of 2026, and any help is always welcome.
