Back Elena's First Drum Corps Adventure

Hey everyone! My name is Elena Balesteri, and I am fundraising for my first ever Drum Corps (DCI) experience with the Sacramento Mandarins. I have been doing color guard since high school and right before I got to college I thought I had lost my spark, but everyday I was not spinning I did not feel like myself. Making the choice to pick up color guard again made me realize how passionate I was and the motivation I felt to continue to improve my skill never felt stronger. Being able to do color guard has provided me with so many opportunities, and has allowed me to prove that I can do hard things, and push myself to excellence by leaps and bounds. The goal I have set for this fundraiser is less than half of my total tuition for the season and I understand that it is a daunting sum; however, I would be eternally grateful for any amount that people are willing to donate. These funds go towards my uniform (athletic shoes, knee pads, jazz shoes), travel (air fare home), food (for the occasional meal that is not provided), color guard equipment (tape, gloves), and much much more.
