Back Didi's Artistic Dream and New Studio
Donation protected
Hi, I am Diana "Didi," a local painting artist from Colombia based in Los Angeles.
I am raising funds for an exciting opportunity I received a few days ago from the Arts to Heart project to participate in a private art auction and prestigious collaboration. Also to pay part of my first rent at my new art studio ($1.300) in Santa Monica which I can move in March.
I have copied and pasted the details from my inbox:
Dear Diana Mogrobejo,
Thank you for reaching out and for your thoughtful message. I'm so sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing due to the wildfires in Los Angeles, but it's inspiring to hear how you're channeling that experience into your art.
We completely understand the financial concerns you're navigating, and we want to help you find a way to make it possible for you to participate in the Arts to Hearts auction. There may be options we can explore together, so let's work on finding a solution that fits.
Regarding the marketing and exposure, the event will provide widespread visibility through a combination of social media promotion, email campaigns, and feature placements on our website. We also collaborate with a number of art influencers and partners to extend the reach of each artist's work. I'll be happy to send over more specific details so you can have a clearer picture of the impact.
MORE DETAILS:
We are thrilled to extend a unique and prestigious invitation to you through the Arts to Hearts project—a remarkable chance to elevate your artwork to an international platform.
Invitation to Showcase at Christie's Auction and the Louvre
We are proud to announce an unparalleled opportunity for distinguished artists like yourself to have your artworks featured at a private auction hosted by Christie's Auction House in New York City. Additionally, you will be part of an exclusive Art Fair and Exhibition at the illustrious Louvre Museum in Paris—a landmark venue celebrated for its rich artistic heritage.
As part of this unique experience, each participating artist will also have their name and artwork prominently featured in a one-page publication in both The New York Times Magazine and Forbes Magazine, spotlighting emerging talents within their locale. This exposure can significantly amplify your visibility and potential reach within the art community and beyond.
Private and Curated Experience
To ensure an intimate and personalized experience, this event is by invitation only. We are committed to maintaining a curated selection of artists, allowing us to manage the number of participants, avoid mass applications, and maintain the quality of engagements. Your application and participation will be handled with the utmost care and consideration.
Support from the Gates Foundation
We are fortunate to have the Gates Foundation as a major sponsor for this extraordinary event. They have provided assurances to all participating artists that, to foster a supportive environment, the Foundation will purchase any unsold artwork during the auction at a baseline price of $5,000 per piece. This initiative aims to encourage more participation and alleviate any concerns regarding the fate of your artworks.
Cost of Participation:
There will be a participation fee of $750 as the fee covers the following:
- Round-trip flight bookings for the auction event
