Hello everyone,

My name is Destinee' Bob, and I’m a 22-year-old student dedicated to creating change in my community through nutrition, public health, and representation.

I graduated valedictorian of my high school class, and most of my undergraduate

degree at Louisiana State University was paid for through hard work, scholarships, and determination. I recently completed my Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science with a concentration in Dietetics, and I am now continuing my journey at Southern University, where I am pursuing my Master of Public Administration while also completing my Dietetic Internship.

I am also a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, which has strengthened my commitment to service, scholarship, sisterhood, and finer womanhood. My involvement has further motivated me to uplift my community and lead with purpose.

My long-term goal is to represent and uplift the Black community by becoming a Black Registered Dietitian, something our field urgently needs. There are so few of us in this profession, and I want to help fill that gap. I want to be a voice, a role model, and an advocate for Black health, food equity, and community wellness. I want young Black students to see someone who looks like them succeeding in a field where we are underrepresented.

However, balancing graduate school, internship rotations, and living expenses has become extremely challenging. My program is full-time and very demanding, leaving me little to no time for outside work without risking burnout or falling behind. Right now, I am struggling to cover both school costs and housing, and I am asking for support so I can continue this journey without worrying about basic stability.

Your donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward:

I have worked so hard to get here, and I am committed to finishing strong. Anything you contribute helps me continue my education, stay housed, and move one step closer to becoming a dietitian who serves and inspires her community.

Thank you for believing in me and supporting my dreams.

With gratitude,

Destinee Bob
