Back Daniel's Path to Nationals

The Downey Wrestling Program is seeking your support to help our dedicated wrestler, Daniel Barajas, attend the prestigious Freestyle Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota. Daniel has been a part of our program for three years, and from the start, he was drawn to the team because of the close-knit, family-like environment. Little did he know that wrestling would go on to change his life in ways he never imagined.

Since joining, Daniel has poured countless hours into his training, far beyond the typical two-hour practice sessions. His commitment extends to additional club practices and weight training, showcasing his unwavering dedication. This sport has ignited a deep passion within him, and it has become an integral part of his life. Daniel’s love for wrestling has grown to such an extent that he is determined to continue pursuing it even after high school.
