I wanted to organize this fundraiser on behalf of my friend and mentor to help her reach her goal.

I will now share, in Allison’s own words, what this means to her and Dr. Anna Lee:

“Competing at the USDF Finals in Wilmington, Ohio this October is not only a dream come true, but also a chance to show that classical dressage—rooted in harmony, respect, and true partnership—can stand shoulder to shoulder in the competitive arena. I have devoted my career to the principles of classical riding, and it is my mission to share with the dressage community that success can come from patience, correctness, and devotion to the art.

Legendario dos Diamantes, an incredible 11-year-old Lusitano breeding stallion owned by Dr Anna Lee, is the horse of our dreams. When I had to leave him behind during a move to New York, my heart was broken. So when Anna reached out asking if I would take him back into training, I felt honored and profoundly lucky. Every show in his career has been with me—from our beginnings at First Level to our Intermediaire I debut this summer. To be entrusted with his training and to represent the Lusitano breed on the national stage is a privilege I never take for granted.

Attending the USDF Finals means giving Legendario the chance to shine on a national stage and share his talent, heart, and spirit with the country. With your support, we can show that the classical principles of dressage are not only beautiful, but also competitive at the very highest levels.”
