Hi, this is Sam Clark and Bryan Mulvany. We’re creating this GoFundMe for one of our dearest friends, Alex Rogers.

If you’re from Grove City, you probably know Alex as the guy who somehow has more energy than the rest of us combined and still finds time to show up for everyone else. Whether it’s through his work, his volunteer efforts, or his hilarious and uplifting presence online, Alex is someone who makes this community better just by being in it.

Recently, Alex was diagnosed with cancer. He kept it quiet at first because that’s just who he is. He didn’t want pity or sad looks. He just wanted to keep doing what he loves. But the truth is, the last couple of months have been tough. He has already undergone major surgery and is now on the long road to recovery. He’ll be off his feet for most of the summer, and while he’s still doing everything he can to keep up with life and work, it’s a lot.

This fundraiser is to help cover medical expenses, time away from work, and all the unexpected costs that come with healing. If you know Alex, you know he would never ask for this kind of help himself — so we’re doing it for him.
