Dear friends, family, and fencing enthusiasts,
I hope this message finds you well. As many of you already know, I am honored to serve as the United States Men's Saber Team national coach, and our team is competing for the gold in both team and individual events at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France. As an Olympian, I would like to share this experience with my family this time, knowing that their support will help propel me and the team forward.
While the journey to the Olympics is a dream come true, it comes with its own set of challenges, including the logistical and financial aspects of bringing my family along to share in this once-in-a-lifetime experience. The support and presence of my loved ones mean the world to me, and I am reaching out to you for help in making this possible.
This GoFundMe campaign is intended help raise funds to help offset the expenses associated with bringing my wife, and our four beautiful children to Paris. Your generous contributions will go towards airfare, accommodation, meals, and other essential needs during our stay.

Any amount you can contribute will make a significant impact and bring us one step closer to having my family present to share in the joy and excitement of the Olympic experience.

In addition to financial support, your words of encouragement mean a lot to us. Please consider sharing our GoFundMe campaign on your social media platforms and with your networks to help spread the word.
Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. Your support goes beyond the fencing strip. We are grateful for your generosity, and we look forward to having you with us in spirit as we aim for Olympic gold in Paris.
Warm regards,
Akhnaten “Akhi” Spencer-EL, OLY 00’
