The sisters of Phi Kappa Zeta are raising money for a memorial fund for Greg Quinn.

On Monday, August 21, 2023, our beautiful friend Greg went to heaven after undergoing a repair for

disintegrated disc, the surgery was risky-but necessary as it was causing him paralysis. Greg made the

choice, understanding the risk and passed away the next day due to complications.

Greg was the epitome of a great soul-he loved his family so very much. He and Marcie had a love story

like no other—they met one another in college. Greg was in a fraternity and Marcie in a sorority. They

dated briefly and as life has it, went their separate ways.

They would meet several years later, and at this time Greg had already had 3 transplants and wore a

medical bracelet. He was not sure Marcie would want to date someone who was not in good health. As

God would have it, they started dating and were married in 2011. This wonderful, passionate godly

marriage is what brought them both happiness and Gods grace. They built a beautiful home together,

as Greg was extremely talented, he and Marcie created a haven for nature and others for friends and

family to gather, praise and enjoy life.

Marcie is overwhelmed and distraught after losing her love, Greg's daughter and 2 grandchildren and

Marcie’s 3 boys and 2 grandsons are so saddened at this loss, and we are trying to help cover the cost of

a memorial and to help with other costs that she will incur. All proceeds will go directly to Marcie.
