Baby Wyatt's Med. Expenses/Memorial

I wanted to set up this account for an amazing couple and friend.  I've known Keira for 20 plus years.  She is one of my sister's best friends and has always been like a second little sister to me.  Keira and her husband have been together for years and learned that they were expecting their first, a baby boy, due in February 2016.  As many of us know, you are so elated to the thoughts of becoming a mommy and Keira was no different!  You are excited to celebrate the news with family and friends and you always hope to share that the baby is healthy.  During Keira and David's anatomy scan they learned that baby Wyatt (as he will be named), has a serious, rare congenital heart defect called Transposition of the Great Vessels.  This is where the main arteries leaving the heart are reversed causing a shortage of oxygen rich blood circulating throughout the body.  Baby Wyatt will need immediate open heart surgery shortly after his arrival.  

As all you parent's know, this is going to be an extremely difficult time for them and baby Wyatt will have an extended recovery time and hospital stay.  The medical expenses will be huge and it is a challenge for any young couple to endure!  My hopes are to raise money to help this deserving and loving family for all of Wyatt's medical bills and needs!  Any little bit helps and thoughts and prayers are welcomed and appreciated equally!  Please share this page!!  Thank you all in advance!
