As many of you already know, Kacy and I have been together for quite some time now. Ten years to be exact. We met in high school and have been rocking out ever since. After high school I joined the Marine Corps which brought me to California. Kacy and I got engaged in 2011 before I deployed to Afghanistan. On August 24th, 2011 our lives changed forever. I was injured by an I.E.D (Improvised Explosive Device) which took my left leg below the knee. After coming back and successfully going through rehab, we made one of our dreams a reality. On May 12th, 2012 we got married!
During our first year and a half of marriage we enjoyed each other and grew together as a married couple while we were still living in California. After being blessed with an opportunity to move back home to be closer to family, we packed up our belongings and made the cross country trip to Tennessee with our fur babies.

After settling in to our new home in October 2013 we decided it was a perfect time to start a family. During our first year of trying to get pregnant we were unsuccessful. The second year we decided to seek professional help from a doctor that prescribed Kacy fertility medicine for her diagnosis of PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). On July 8th 2015 we were excited to find out that Kacy was pregnant! Two short days later, we unfortunately lost our precious little blessing. After the emotional roller coaster of having a miscarriage we continued to push forward and keep trying. Kacy's OBGYN referred us to Nashville Fertility Clinic to better our chances of having a baby. After further testing, we found out that I also had fertility issues. In November of 2015 we did our first IUI (Intrauterine insemination) which was unsuccessful. We then decided to continue to try naturally. After a total of 3 years of trying to conceive, we have decided to make our dream become a reality by going through IVF (In Vitro Fertilization).

It just so happens this dream costs up to $15,000 not including the medicine we will have to purchase as well.  As of right now our tax returns and a generous donation from our parents we have collected $4,000. Anything will help us come close to this goal. Thank you in advance for any donations and prayers sent our way. We can not express in words how much this means to us so follow our story first hand on facebook at " Baby Vanhoose IVF ".
