BabyStone & Violette Frawley Family

Meet Stephanie and Dave Frawley - an amazing young couple who have such great love and beautiful strength. They were married in 2014 with one son Tyson who is 12 years old, they have two sons in heaven and one little guy Stone who is fighting and winning in the NICU right now at 34 weeks corrected age and just over 4 lbs. When Steph and Dave decided it was time to grow their family, they were very excited and then broken hearted soon after. In May of 2015, Stephanie had to deliver a little boy at 20 weeks after the baby didn't have a heart beat in the routine ultrasound. The pathology report later showed an issue with the placenta. After 6 weeks they decided to try again and were pregnant right away with baby boy number 2. He seemed to be doing well until the 24, 26 and 28 week scans showed baby was measuring small and in danger so their family was air lifted to Toronto to deliver by c-section on January 4th, 2016. Little Smith Frawley had many health complications due to placenta insufficiency and lack of blood flow and he sadly passed away after 4 days. Steph then suffered a pulmonary embolism (a blood clot in her lung) due to complications from her pregnancy and c-section surgery. Refusing to give up hope they then tried 6 months later to get pregnant to which they did, with a third baby boy! This time around they were greatly prepared with specialists in Toronto to which they visited often and daily medication for optimal blood flow between her and baby. At 25 weeks mom and baby were admitted to Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto due to her placenta being in poor shape and was predicted to fail soon. Steph had to have daily ultrasounds and twice daily non stress tests to monitor baby. Dave was able to stay with her for 3 weeks while they waited to see on baby number 3's unpredictable arrival. At her ultrasound on February 2nd, 2017 the specialist informed them that it was time for c-section and their baby could not wait one more day if he was to live. Stone Frawley was born that day, he cried instantly and was weighing under 2 lbs. Since then he has been such a strong little miracle growing and developing very well. His main struggle now is his lungs and little setbacks living in the NICU which has delayed their stay. Stephanie has been staying at the Ronald McDonald house. She has been away from her family in Sudbury for 10 weeks and her little Stone in a different building, down the way. Her husband and first born Tyson try and make it as often as they can to visit the other half of their family. However Tyson is in school and Dave is the only source of income and has to work to pay the bills for their family while Steph gives all the love she can to Stone with her daily visits, snuggles and bath/story time. This story has touched myself and so many people around our little town of Sudbury not only for the loss this family has suffered but the great strength they all show day to day while bearing alot of pain and anxiousness. This gofundme page I hope can help their family pay some of their bills, hotels, food, travel, and ease some of the financial burden of Stephanie being off work for so long and perhaps allow Dave to have some time off to visit his new son and lovely wife. The hope would be for them to be able to focus on being strong for their little one and each other and not have their mind consumed or thoughts elsewhere on the negatives life has handed them. They are overwhelmed with joy at the rate of growth and personality Stone shows each day but of course he is still in the hospital and she remains by his side as much as she can. Thank you in advance for your prayers, positive thoughts or any donation you are able to give from your home to theirs.
