Skye's Med Bill/Moms Car Accident

Donation protected

Skye's medical bills have caused a severe debt. I got into a car accident. I am now unable to pay any bills. Due to my accident I am going through tests. I have physical therapy, and concussion testing. I am in pain on a daily basis. I have not been able to work. Fmla is unpaid, there is no program in the state of New Hampshire set up to help people like me. I have had one incident after another. It is not easy to ask for help. Here I am again, asking due to more recent horrible life occurrences; which I could not control. When can our family catch a break. Now I have my own healing to do with appointments, Skye's appointments, for healing and early educational intervention; it all so overwhelming.

In November of 2015 Skye Alexander Malo was diagnosed with right Coronal Craniosynostosis. Scaphocephaly is the most common type of craniosynostosis. Coronal synostosis (anterior plagiocephaly). Premature fusion of a coronal suture — one of the structures that run from each ear to the sagittal suture on top of his head — this has caused the right side of his forehead to appear flattened.
Craniosynostosis is treated by surgery of the skull, which opens the fused sutures, creating space for brain growth.  For more information please click the link below:

Skye has received his surgery. He is healing amazingly well; so far. His journey is not over. He will need to have check ups until he is 5 years of age. He still has some hardware (dissolvable screws) that we are monitoring. Skye is receiving early intervention for speech. He is undergoing evaluations, and getting tests done for allergies. Skye is also being monitored for muscle tears in his eyes. Which he could possibly need surgery for.

As if this all was not enough, when Concord Hospital performed the procedure for Skye's circumcision. The physician who performed the procedure, did not remove most of the skin. Skye is in need of more surgery. Insurance does not pay for this. It is considered cosmetic now. Which just seems wrong because it should have been performed correctly. I don't think it is right that we have to pay for this.

It has been one occurrence after another. It is not a good time to not be able to work. We are forced to make difficult decisions. We can't afford to live. I wish that there was a system set up in the state of New Hampshire; which would help hard working families, who face obstacles just like our family does.

It is disheartening for me. A person who once thrived at my profession, and attended college; I am now someone who is unreliable in the workforce. It is only temporarily. I hope that in a few months things will all fall into place.
Please if you can support our campaign! Every little donation helps!

It has come to my attention that there are many who want to donate. Many have asked for an address to send donations. I have been told that many do not want to give donation through GoFundme and or some just do not wish to put their information out there.

If you know someone who would like to make a donation, but wishes to do so by mail, please relay this information.
