Hello my name is Jeremy on 5-12-2015 at 11:38 PM PST my son Jeremy Elijah Badger came into me and my wife Raven's world. We were so excited about the birth of our beautiful baby boy, and his cry sounded like a melody from heaven. My wife got to hold him for a minute then they took him across the room to clean him up. Then in an instant our baby was ripped away from us and taken out of the room. My wife was screaming where are you taking our baby only to hear nothing. An hour later they returned with the worst news any parent should ever have to go through. On 5-13-2015 the doctors came back and told us our baby boy had passed on, they said he didnt make it due to an bad infection in his lungs. With him being born 6 weeks and 3 days early his lungs were not fully developed and after my wife's water breaking and baby not having the amniotic fluid to protect him, he caught an infection. Baby Eli was given antibiotics and steroids but unfortunately the steroids did not work which caused his lungs to fail and his body was not strong enough to fight the infection. We are completely torn by this happening to us, all we can do is let God take the wheel and help us through these times of sorrow. We are thankful for the hour of time we had with him, but it was just not enough. We were not prepared for this to happen as nobody in the world should ever be, but now we are scrambling for money to give our son a proper resting place and to send him on his journey home to heaven.
