Baby Scott Yohem

On Saturday Oct 29, we lost a good, young man, Scott Yohem. Scott passed away from complications during his heart surgery. His heart just wasn't strong enough to keep his body going. This is a terrible loss and the family is very sad. What's even more sad is he and his wife, Melanie, are expecting their first child - a baby boy - in February. It is already so hard to lose a spouse and at the young age of 33, but to lose a spouse while expecting your first child is inconceivable.
I am a close friend to the Yohem family. It is my goal to lessen the burden of raising a child on her own by raising some money to help with this baby boy. Even if we raise enough money to pay for diapers for a year, that would be wonderful.
After a loss, people often say "let me know what I can do to help" but it usually gets lost in the shuffle. This is an opportunity for us to actually DO something to help this family. Please consider donating the amount for a pack or two of diapers (or more if you are able). Let's show Scott, Melanie, and the entire Yohem family what it means to be a part of the Copley Community and family.
