Through the generosity of collaborators, we've secured locations, creative support, and contributions from a passionate team of young artists. We're now raising £1,000 to cover the final production costs and make the shoot possible on 27–28 June.

Hi, I'm Gabriela Eva, an independent artist and songwriter from Essex.

I'm currently fundraising to help bring my next music video to life. The song explores the experience of absent fathers and the lasting impact that absence can have on identity, relationships, and self-discovery.

This is one of the most personal stories I've ever shared through my music. Growing up, my relationship with my father was shaped by distance, longing, and the complicated reality of loving someone who isn't always there. Through this video, I want to explore not only loss, but resilience, transformation, and the ways we learn to rebuild ourselves.

Created with a small team of passionate creatives, the film will weave together personal memories, symbolic imagery, and meaningful locations that have shaped my life. From visual references to childhood visits with my father to the fields I grew up around in Essex, every scene is rooted in real experience and designed to create something honest, powerful, and visually striking.

While this story begins with my own experience, it's also for anyone who has navigated absence, complicated family relationships, or the journey of finding themselves despite what's missing.

As an independent artist, projects like this are only possible with community support. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly towards helping us cover production costs and bring this story to the screen.
