Baby’s FIP Treatment
Donation protected
Please watch the videos as this is an urgent case that we really need help with.
Let me introduce you all to Baby, Baby has been in Eileen’s care for over 12 months. She is not your typical cat, she is small for her age and she has always had different health issues but about a month ago Baby was diagnosed with FIP.
We were put in a very difficult situation as we were aware that for some cats FIP can be an end of life situation but baby was not giving up, she wanted to live and was prepared to fight so as we have always said if there is fight in a kitten we will do what we can to help them fight aswell.
We started baby on FIP medication that was funded by ourselves and this medication isn’t cheap but we had to give her a chance. If the initial trial didn’t work then we knew that it was out of our control.
Baby responded really well to the medication and slowly her symptoms lessoned, she was standing taller, walking better, she was eating and in the space of a few weeks her weight had doubled. She had always been a cat who didn’t want attention and wanted to be left but now she was coming for fusses and cuddles and showing just how grateful she was that we were fighting along side her.
Any cat or kitten are required to be on this medication for 84 days and the amount they need changes as their weight changes. We have covered the first third but now we need to cover the rest. We know that the events we do will eventually raise the funds we need however baby can’t wait for that so we are asking for your help.
I am setting up a GoFundMe as we need to raise at least £250 to cover the next third asap.
If anyone is able to make a donation to support this cat we would really appreciate it, it will allow her to carry on with treatment and for her to have a chance at living. It would be a shame to have to stop something that as you can see in the videos is obviously working.
