Baby Lily

Donation protected
As many of you know my little SiStar JoJo and Matt delivered a beautiful little girl Lily Joy Freeland May 11th at 10:12pm weighing in at 5lbs 15.7oz and 19.5 inches long. What many of you do not know is that after 36 hours in this world Lily was admitted into ICU for low blood sugars and transfered to Miller Children's Hospital in Long Beach where she still is today. After 31 days of trial and error with medications Lily was finaly diagonosed with a rare genetic mutation called Congenital hyperinsulinism. Congenital hyperinsulinism (CHI) is a rare, and often severe, genetic disorder that causes low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) in infants and children. Lily will start with a PET/CT scan which will let Matt and JoJo know if she has a focal or diffused disease. After the scan Lily will be having surgery on her pancreas to have the bad cells removed, the outcome of the scan will determine how much of her pancreas will be removed.
These three induviduals have been through so much in the past month and have a long road before Lily will come home. There is a great possibility that surgery will be done out of state. If there is any way you could help this lovely new family with any of their out of pocket expenses it would mean the world to me knowing my little SiStar and Matt will not have to worry about being by baby Lily's bedside through all of this.
Peace, love, and prayers,
Auntie Jackie
