Let's all be guardian angels for Baby Emerson "Jett" Heffington! Since his first moments of life, he has struggled to breathe.  During his birth, he inhaled contaminated amniotic fluid which resulted in a severe case of Meconium Aspiration Syndome (MAS).  Under the proper care, he can recover, but the procedures are expensive and lengthy.  

Hours after birth, he was airlifted from the small hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas to one of the top neonatology programs in the country, Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.  He will be staying in Memphis in PICU on a heart and lung machine (ECMO) for about a month as his lungs recover.

Your donations will fund the uncovered medical costs associated with Baby Jett's hospital bills.  A month's stay can run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.  Insurance will help, but will not cover everything.  Additionally, his parents will incur many expenses while staying in Memphis with their infant away from home.
