James Maxwell Farrell was welcomed into this world on September 5, 2016. Due to pre-term labor complications, James was born 14 weeks before his expected due date. As a pre-maturely born infant, James endured many challenges. He was born with under-devloped lungs and PDA (Patent Ductus Arteriosus, which is a hole in his heart), that soon turned into a severe brain bleed because of the medication he was on to try to cure his PDA. James has been living off of feeding tubes, respirators and an incubator for the last month, but his fight is strong and keeps showing his strength.
James is my first and only nephew and although I haven't had the pleasure to look into his beautiful eyes, I already love him so much. 
This is my chance and everyone who would like to helps, chance to support his fight! My brother and sister-in-law are overwhelmed with the love and support but the expenses have accumulated.

As of October 4, 2016 James weighs 2 pounds and 13 ounces, which is a full pound more than he did at birth!
