Over the past year Goldry and I have experienced the greatest joy of becoming husband and wife and we have also experiened the great loss of 2 miscarriages as we worked towards creating a family.
As long as I can remember, I always felt I was born to be a mom. I have spent most of my life dedicated to children and youth and have been part of raising children around the globe. I was nicked named "Mama T" by many friends because of how I showed up in relationships and literally was the nurturing mother figure to many.
And Goldry, the favorite uncle to everyones kids, an incredible step father to his son Josh and a man that was truly born to be a father (with me!).
After a great deal of prayer and meditation Goldry and I have reaized our family planning path was not one we initially thought of yet now feels so clear and and divinely guided and that is to bring a child into our home through adoption.
Goldry and I have begun working with an amazing organization Boys and Girls Aid based in Portland Oregon to begin the adoption process. B&G Aid is an incredible agency that has been around since 1885. They are a non-denominational and inclusive organization that strongly advocates for all people to be able to adopt. We honestly feel we have found a new extended family!

The cost of adoption is high yet we believe every penny will be worth it as we could never place monetary value on our child. The whole process through B&G Aid will cost $33,000. If you go to the website it outlines exactly the breakdown as to where the dollars go to.
We have decided that nothing will come in the way of this vision and so we are reaching out to our extended family and friends and loved ones to ask for your support in making our dream of a family come true.
With some urgency we are hoping to raise $20,000 within the next few weeks to help us be able to complete the adoption process. We are already underway and are in the homestudy process.
There are truly now words to express the depth of gratitude we feel and share from all the love and support we receive on the daily and there will certainly be no words (mostly only my tears!) to express our gratitude for supporting us in finally having our baby that is waiting for us to come home.
All support will get us closer!
With Love and deep gratitude
Tami & Goldry
