Remembering Faith Joy Giallombardo
Donation protected
Kayleigh and Alex Giallombardo's daughter Faith was born on March 22nd at only 26 weeks and 15 oz. As baby Faith and her mom Kayleigh are fighting for their lives, both Kayleigh and Alex are unable to work and are accumulating a large sum of medical bills. Let's bless this family financially and also with prayer for Faith and Kayleigh's recovery. God has been miraculously working throughout Faith's life and we are excited to watch her grow. Feel free to share the website for donations, updates from Kayleigh and Alex, and in sharing Faith's story to encourage others.
March 26, 2017:
God is so good! Baby Faith Joy Giallombardo was born on March 22nd at 3:24am at only 26 weeks! We got to the hospital at 12am it all happened so fast! The doctors said I have HELLP syndrome and my organs were shutting down, if I didn't deliver right then I would have died. We saw baby Faith's heart on the ultrasound and it stopped pumping so they literally ran me to the operating room and got her out within 5mins I was even throwing up during the entire c-section surgery but the doctors couldn't delay, they just pulled baby out to get her breathing and heart pumping and my organs working again! I'm in awe of God's hand in this miracle and His faithfulness! I'm doing so much better now still at the hospital being monitoring carefully for HELLP syndrome since my blood pressures were 235/173 (with medication) baby Faith was born a little under 15ounces (the doctors said the equipment will only work if she's 17ounces) but the breathing tube fit! Her vitals are stable as of now, Alex (my husband) has been with Baby Faith every chance he can she even squeezed his pinky finger! I still haven't met her yet because they're monitoring me closely but Alex has shown me tons of pictures and videos! God's timing is perfect and He did a huge miracle for me and our baby! We're just praying baby Faith grows and stays healthy in the NICU with no complications!

Update for baby Faith! Faith's NICU doctor called me 3/28@8:30am he explained in detail everything that happened yesterday evening...he apologized for shouting several times that "the baby is dying" and "hurry this baby is dead" he said that must have been really hard to hear as parents sitting there watching but that was the extreme severity of what was happening at that moment. Faith's organs shut down, heart stopped, pumping skin turned pale, fluid in her lungs, no oxygen to brain, stomach turned blue/discoloration...he needed the team of specialists working on her fast! Faith showed all the signs of a brain hemorrhage but the tests did not find that, her vitals were all down and not functioning. He apologized for not having any answers as to why this happened and what took place they have ruled every possibility out and cannot find a reason for anything that happened to Faith, all of a sudden everything went back to normal organs started functioning, she started breathing, fluids cleared from her lungs, skin turned back to normal colors, and vitals were normal again! She slept through the night and everything went back to normal and she is still doing well as if none of this ever happened to her and there's still no explanation of what happened and why it stopped! But for now she still has a hole in her heart called PDA which is very common with premature babies and will eventually close on its own they will be meeting with a team of NICU cardiologists who will discuss a plan of action to help Faith's heart ❤️ if they need to do medication or surgery it's a discussion they will be going over. It's another miracle we prayed all night for her and asked the Lord to raise her from the dead like He raised Lazarus and to move this mountain ! God is so good I'm getting discharged from the hospital now too, I'm so excited!
God is so faithful and good to us and knows how much we are all able to handle! I'm so glad to have heard your story before all of this I feel not so alone with everything and that you and your baby went through and praise God he is healed, healthy, and absolutely adorable! Thank you again for your encouragement and prayers! I'll keep you posted on baby Faith's healing process too, as of now she is stable and they are giving her blood since her blood level count was low and are continuing to monitor her lungs and breathing since her oxygen levels drop from 85-80% then back to 95% Alex has been with her a lot I'm so thankful that baby Faith knows his voice and touch!
