As a lot of you know Nate and Laura Martin’s baby was born October 26th of this year. When she was 3 1/2 weeks old she got a nasty cough so Laura took her to the dr. When the dr checked her out she didn’t like what she saw so she sent them to the ER. They did an X-ray to see what was the problem. They didn’t know exactly what was going on, but they could tell something wasn’t right with her heart so they life flighted her to Geisinger. Geisinger then ended up life flighting her to Hershey and Hershey did a CT scan and found that the aortic arch to her heart was almost close and just a trickle of blood was getting through and so they did surgery right away. They surgery went well and the dr was hopeful that she was on the road to recovery. This past Monday she had a check up appointment with a Dr in Lancaster and she didn’t like what she was seeing so she sent them to DuPont hospital to get a Heart Cath and MRI! The Heart Cath was to check to make sure she didn’t have a blood clot in a vessel going to the brain. We thank God that came back normal and that it’s not the case. They did however find out that where she had her heart surgery it’s not as open as they thought and at this point is looking at another surgery. We hope and pray baby Evie’s little body can stay strong through another surgery. God is in control and we praise Him for that!! All things are possible through Him and that gives us all a sense of peace.
With Nate being there and not working much in the last month and with them just moving to their new home, we would like to bless them in helping them with their medical bills and monthly bills!! Every little bit helps a lot!! Thank you so much for your prayers and support through this time. It’s greatly appreciated!!
