Ed and Jessica want to be parents more than anything in the world. Here is their story.
Ed grew up in a small family with one older brother who now has two little ones himself. The desire to have children started when he proposed to Jessica and started picturing their future together. He knew whatever there future held there was undoubtedly children in it. The desire really kicked in when he saw how great his wife interacted with kids though. He had known previously he wanted children but now he knew how bad. He vividly remembers seeing Jessica calm her crying niece one day when the two of them were babysitting together and thinking to himself wow this women is going to make an incredible mother. And he couldn't wait to experience that with her.
Jessica grew up with three sisters and currently has two nieces so there was always lots of kids around. She knew from a young age she wanted to have a lot of children but also that she wanted to adopt. Jessica's mother can recall her saying as young as ten years old that she was going to adopt a child someday. Jessica had planned on adopting at some point in her life but did want to have biological children as well so after her and Ed were married on October 13 2013 they started trying to have conceive. She knew how good of a father Ed would be to their child in the way that he interacts with her nieces and sisters and she wants nothing more to experience that with a child of their own.
They noticed after a few months that the journey to parenthood was going to be harder then they thought but they tried various things over the course of the next year. After a year of trying they decided to see a infertility doctor and after being presented with the various treatments options they decided to go with one that was considered to be as natural as possible. They prayed over it and decided together that if the first round of medicine did not work they were not going to try any others. Reaching this decision was difficult but they wanted to make sure that they were not forcing something that was not meant to be which is why they ultimatly decided that if the natural infertility medication the Dr. prescibed did not work then God had other plans for them.
The two finished the treatment and it did not work. They are sure that this is because God wants them to be great parents to a child who needs them! And so they will be moving on now towards the adoption.
The total financial need for the adoption will be $32,000. This is for the birth mothers medical bills, living expenses and legal fees. Our own legal fees, adoption center fees and homestudy costs.
There are many programs out there that offer grants and funding and Ed and Jessica have filled those out and if any funding is received they will immediately deduct that from the total funding amount needed.
If there story has spoken to your heart in any way and you would like to donate to this fund to help this loving couple become a family it would mean the world to them. No donation is to big or too small.
Thank you!
With love,
Ed and Jessica Beauchamp
