Baby Aspen

"Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart."

My name is Jenni Muehlenbruch and Carli Pitsch is one of my very best friends. My goal for this Go Fund Me account is to raise money for Carli and her family to help alleviate some of the stress of having a very premature baby. Although Carli and Dan have insurance, we all know that the financial need is far greater than that (not only now, but down the road as well). 

Aspen Nichole Pitsch was born on Christmas Eve at 26 weeks gestation, via emergency C-section. She weighed just over 2lbs and was taken immediately to the NICU where she is currently receiving 24/7 care by an amazing team of nurses and doctors. As of right now, it looks as though she could be there through February. Each day, presents itself with a fews steps forward and sometimes a few back. 

Carli and Dan also have two other small children that they are caring for- not to mention that Carli will need to take leave without pay from work in order to be there with Aspen as she gets to have skin to skin contact, breastfeed, and more. This is a critical time for both Carli and Aspen. The doctors said that even when Apsen comes home, she will need special care (meaning that Carli will need to take more time off of work).

Donating to the Pitsch family would mean so much. These are two people that would take the coats off of their back for any of us. They are kind, caring, passionate, loud (love you guys ;>), selfless, and so much more. So many of us have asked what we can do to help- and this is one way to do it.

Let's get some money to this amazing family so that they don't have to stress about making an extra trip to the hospital, so that Carli can stay home from work an extra month or two, so that Titus and Piper can have a few extra activities to keep them entertained while visiting baby sister, to pay for extra medications, extended care, and more!
