11-month-old Yaritza is in the fight of her life. You can be her lifeline.
The Magaña family has always been fighters—inside and outside the ring. Now, they’re facing the most important fight of all: saving the life of 11-month-old baby Yaritza.
On September 21, 2025, Angela Magaña, Mixed Martial Artist and former UFC fighter, was overjoyed to become a grandmother. Her daughter Delilah, an amateur boxer and single mother, gave birth to Yaritza, a bright and beautiful little girl. Wanting a fresh start and more family support, Delilah and Yaritza left New Mexico to live with Angela in Puerto Rico.
But recently, their joy turned to fear. The family noticed Yaritza’s abdomen was unusually swollen. When they tried to take her to the doctor, they discovered her U.S. insurance wouldn’t cover care in Puerto Rico. An electrical outage delayed appointments, forcing them to rush her to the ER. There, doctors discovered devastating news: baby Yaritza has a hepatic tumor on her liver. Because of the tumor’s location, it cannot be safely removed, and she may ultimately require a liver transplant.
Angela, the family’s sole provider, has already been burdened with over $12,000 in medical debt, a number that continues to climb. On top of hospital bills, the family faces constant out-of-pocket costs, from $50/day hospital parking to the potential expense of transporting Yaritza back to the U.S. for specialized care.
This family of fighters refuses to give up. But they cannot win this battle alone.

Potential transportation back to the States for advanced medical care
Giving this little fighter the chance at a healthy, happy life
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings hope and strength to Angela, Delilah, and baby Yaritza in their fight for survival.
From the bottom of their hearts, the Magaña family thanks you for joining them in the most important fight they’ve ever faced—the fight for Yaritza’s life.
