Hi, my name is Laurie Jacobson and I am raising funds to support my daughter and son-in-law, Becca and Tim MacPartland during my granddaughter Wynna's NICU stay.

After not feeling baby move and a trip to the hospital for fetal monitoring it was determined that Wynna was in distress. She was delivered immediately via emergency C-section on January 6 at 32 weeks 4 days and taken straight to the NICU for care.

Wynna is doing very well and progressing she just needs time due to her prematurity. She has been in the NICU a little over 2 weeks and is projected to be in for a couple more before she is ready to go home. Parents Tim and Becca have been juggling caring for big brother Fitz who is almost 2 while driving back and forth to the hospital 35 minutes away.

Tim has to take several weeks of unpaid leave from work in order to do this and Becca was forced to stop working earlier than anticipated. Funds raised would go towards easing the financial burden of missed work, hospital bills, gas and food expenses and the occasional hotel stay when the winter weather prevents travel.
