Baby Wyatt’s Heart surgery’s

I am a dear friend to the Devora-Jaramillo Family who's son "Wyatt" was born with a large hole in his heart (Ventricular Septal Defect).

 

His defect will require him to have two medically necessary open heart surgeries. The first surgery will be performed to help Wyatt’s heart failure slow down and buy him some time to grow. This will also allow his physicians some additional time to observe the development of Wyatt’s right ventricle and develop the proper surgical plan according to its development over the upcoming weeks/months. Both of these surgeries will require a 5-10 day hospital stay with a 6 week recovery period.

 

Wyatt's first surgery will be performed at Texas Children’s Hospital on Wednesday May 18th.

 

Due to personal circumstances, Kristie has no additional PTO time left to cover the additional time off that will be needed for pre/post surgery visits to Houston, hospital stays and the recovery/healing period for Wyatt.

 

I have created this gofundme to help this family offset the financial burdens that they will be taking on with the frequent travel expenses from San Antonio to Houston along with the medical expenses that will come along with these procedures.
