Baby Winston's elbow surgery and recovery.

Story

Hello my name is Vicki Bentley, I am Jay's younger cousin and an large influence on how Jay met Winston. With much thought and many conversations, Jay met and fell for Winston. On June 4th he brought the handsome bulldog home. Only 3 days in to their new life together an accident happened and Mr. Winston took a spill down the back deck stairs. An emergency vet trip and xrays it was determined Winston has a fractured elbow and is now up for surgery on Monday June 9th in Scarborough to repair it. Although Winston came with a month of insurance, this accident isn't going to be covered. Anyone with a pet knows, even the smallest of health concerns with a pet can be extremely expensive. I am reaching out in hopes to help ease some of the financial burden off of Jay and to aid in Winston's recovery. This surgery is roughly $9000 with a $1000 vet bill leading up to surgery for xrays and exams. That doesn't include any further vet trips or future procedures that will need to happen due to this accident. This love story has only just begun as Winston is only 10/11 weeks old. Although we all understand pet owenship comes with many costs and responsibilities, this is a heavy weight for such a young pup and new relationship. All donations will be given directly to Jay to aid the cost of Winston's recovery. Jay has NOT asked for any support durring this time. I decided to put this together for him and Winston to help ensure they have a great life together. From the bottom of my heart thank you for taking the time to read, share and support these two. Thank you, Vicki Bentley Just an update had the vca hospital call .. Winston is doing good .. still waiting on surgery, might be bumped to Tuesday now. But eating, and resting. He’s one tough little nugget.
