**UPDATED**

Hi everyone!! My name is Libby and my husband is Derrick.  We have been married for almost 3 years, but been together for 15!  There has never been a question that we wanted to have a family together.  That is something that we knew for sure.  In 2007 I became pregnant.  The pregnancy sadly ended in an ectopic pregnancy.  My left tube ruptured and was removed.  Our happiness quickly turned to the worst sadness.  As time went on we decided that we would try again when the time felt right.  (we were also pretty young) Well, the time came.  We decided we would really try.  We would time and track everything.  A few months went by, and nothing happened.  We decided to make a doctors appointment.  The doctor didn't see any immediate reason why we wouldn't be able to conceive.  He suggested that I continue tracking everything, to get a basal thermometer, and continue to try.  After a few more months, still nothing.  We decided to go back to the doctor.  I got an ultra sound done, everything looked good.  He then said the next step would be to have my other tube checked for any blockages and for my husband to have a semen analysis done.  We scheduled the HSG to look at my tube, and also scheduled an appointment for my husband.  My husband's results came in and they were great!! With fingers and toes crossed we went in for my appointment.  We were really hoping for great results and that the problem was our timing somehow.  The doctor started the procedure and I watched on the screen.  I saw him inject the dye and it start to go in my tube and then it just stopped.  He said sometimes the dye will push a blockage out, so he injected some more dye a few times. Nothing moved.  We were devastated.  Our next step was to make an appointment with a Reproductive Endocrinologist.  We met with Dr. Payne, and discovered our option is IVF.  While there are so many emotions that come along with this, there is nothing we want more than to start a family.  An IVF procedure at the lowest end of the price range is $8,000-$14,000.  Insurance does not cover any part of this.  We are reaching out for whatever help we can get to reach our goal of Baby Whitner.  If you feel led to donate, we want you to know how truly appreciated you are.  We are so grateful for the help we are receiving.  We've always trusted that God has a plan.    This isn't exactly what we expected but, we are so, so thankful for the chance to start a family.  We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

                           With so much love,
                              The Whitners
