At just five days old, baby Whitley began showing concerning symptoms, so her parents took her to the local ER, and they're having to walk a path that no parent, especially a newborn's parent, should have to walk.

Whitley is currently admitted to the pediatric ICU and is being treated for bacterial meningitis. There are many tests being done, medications being given, and several doctors on board. This can be a debilitating infection that could cause long-term effects and even permanent brain damage. We are praying for none of these to occur and surely welcome your prayers for a full recovery.
